The Patagonian territory of Chile has 11 million protected hectares, where indigenous wildlife and unique species live and flourish. On this marine expedition you will navigate the Straits of Magellan, and visit the ports of Ushuaia in Argentina and Punta Arenas in Chile. One of the highlights of the trip is undoubtedly rounding Cape Horn – a thrilling experience but be aware it is weather permitting! Shore excursions are by Zodiac; depending on weather conditions.
Optional: Disembark the boat in Ushuaia after four days and fly up to Buenos Aires for a few days before flying home.
Day 1: Fly to Santiago
Day 2: Arrive in Santiago, Chile’s capital city
Day 3: Fly to Punta Arenas on the Magellan Straits and join the expedition boat
Days 4-9: On expedition boat, sailing through unimaginably stunning scenery of channels, fjords, glaciers, islands and icebergs
Day 10: Disembark in Punta Arenas and fly to Santiago
Day 11: Santiago
Day 12: Fly to London
